The chicken tenders are standout favorites, crispy and seasoned just right. Many rave about the gyros for their generous portions and fresh flavors. Diners frequently mention the fried catfish, praised for its perfect crunch and flavor. The welcoming atmosphere, coupled with friendly service, adds to the overall enjoyment of dining there. A tip for visitors: the jumbo shrimp earns high praise for its size and juiciness; it’s a must-try! Customers appreciate the cleanliness of the establishment and the aroma of freshly cooked food filling the air.

Most Disliked

While House Of Fire receives numerous accolades, some customers note that the seating is limited, with the dining area featuring just a few high-top tables. Some diners mention that it can feel crowded during the busiest times, pushing the grab-and-go experience to its limits. Additionally, a few patrons wish for more vegetarian options on the menu, as the focus leans heavily on comfort food that might not cater to all dietary preferences. Lastly, the wait times may vary, especially during peak hours, but regulars insist the fresh food is worth the wait.

Tried this venue for the very first time this past early April and thought the food overall was pretty good at fair prices. We live out in Beach Park but were out wandering around Meijer so hey, why not do some exploring for good eats in the RL area. Actually stumbled onto this place around the beginning of the year and became interested after reading enough rave reviews. To me, the menu seems like a cross between a Chicago style grill and JJ Fish & Chicken. Food came out hot & fresh, service was very friendly and the venue was very clean. I guess I didn't look thoroughly at the Google site pics being I thought there'd be dining in but really just 3 high top tables with a pair of chairs for each and 2 outta 3 were occupied. It was my wife & our 2 young boys that were with us so we ended up eating in the car, no biggie. Food was yummy and would definitely come back if ever in the area again, always try my best to support local.

I just had the gyro and fries and let me tell you guys it’s the Bomb! There is no place in the area that has food like this! I been to Sammie’s and other places and they don’t offer the same freshness and the portions are huge. Really get your bucks worth! I highly recommend! The wings and burgers are also amazing

If you’re looking for some seriously good fried food, this spot is IT! I had the fried catfish, chicken wings, and jumbo shrimp, and let me tell you, they nailed every single thing. The catfish was fried to absolute perfection, crispy, flavorful, and delicious. The wings were fried hard just right without me even having to ask (a rare miracle these days). And the jumbo shrimp? Massive, juicy, and packed with flavor. They don’t skimp on quality here. The woman at the counter was an absolute sweetheart, super welcoming and friendly. Plus, I love that the food is cooked fresh after you order. Sure, there’s a bit of a wait, but when it’s this fresh and worth every bite, I’ll gladly wait. The place was clean, which I always appreciate, but it’s definitely more of a grab-and-go spot. They had a couple of tables, but it’s not really a dine-in vibe. Overall, if you want fresh, delicious, well-cooked food with great service, this is the spot. Highly recommend!

Got the pick 2 with cat fish and shrimp with lemon pepper also came with fries bread and coleslaw. Cat fish was really good same with the shrimp, the Nachos were loaded and the triple burger was good as well. I’ll be coming back. Thanks again!

Ordered the catfish, wings, & Gyro. The catfish was by far the best I've ever had! The wings were crispy and juicy, the gyro was a little salty but heavy on flavor too. This is my new favorite place in town, definitely be back!
